A moment to complain...

We have, in our dear apartment, a certain little fuse. Now this little fuse has a slight problem with being lazy. That's right; whenever we give it the tiniest bit more of work to do, it quits working altogether. Now, folks, I know what you are thinking... Why would a fuse behave so badly? Well sadly I don't know. It absolutely refuses to do anything more than the bare minimum. Even if you turn off all the unnecessary appliances, such as the lights, to make its job easier, it still doesn't seem to want to cooperate. This isn't good folks, because it makes people late, disables people's time computing devices, and makes computers be very angry.

The moral of the story?

Don't be lazy!

(unless it's homework; then by all means - go ahead)

Well an interesting happened yet again the night of my last post. Albeit this time I had a bit of warning. I covered the Kerry campaign rally, which I have to tell you was quite an experience. The place was overflowing, so the photographer and I had to push through the crowds to get to the press area. Of course they didn't believe us and chose to yell at us. I proceeded to yell back. It was fun.

Anyway, once I was happily settled in the press area, having taken nobody's spot in the normal area, I settled down and waited for the rally to start. All around me there were all these familiar looking media faces. It was kind of intimidating and also kind of fun.

Bill Nye was there, which was amusing cuz I had interviewed him over the phone for the longest-interview-consisting-of-2-questions-ever (and it was about sundials!). I didn't know if it was him at first but was bold and asked. He remembered me and started to talk about those marsdials so I made him give me a quote about Kerry, which I proceeded to not include in my article.

I also ran into Lindsay Scola from high school who is now an officer of Young Democrats. I got a couple of quotes from her, which I did use in my article.

I also ran into the ultra-liberal-State-representative-from-the-ninth-district Adam Smith while paying for parking. He was one of the people who introduced Kerry (not to mention I wrote an article about a speech of his on Friday), so naturally I got a quote from him, which I used in my article.

What can I say? Bill Nye just isn't cutting it these days.

And one more thing...

"Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash his clothes." - Leviticus 14:47

There is some nice and wholesome advice for ya.
