Well last quarter came to an end and this quarter began (and with not too shabby weather I should say). I haven't been to my two com classes yet, but I did go to my French literature class and guess what?!
It's taught in English!
I cannot understand why this French department is encouraging me to never learn how to speak the language. It's as if they are constantly sending me the message: Don't learn French - we will give you a bachelors in it anyway!
Oh well, if they insist...
And now for a pause
awwwwww......
Anyway, guess what?
Hell finally froze over! (is that inappropriate language? I am never too sure...)
Why may you ask?
Well quite simply, someone was finally stupid enough to break into my car. I mean, seriously folks - my car is missing a mirror, a hubcap and has a lovely yellow dent in that beautiful unwashed teal side. Oh and let's not forget that it is filled with trash/music sheets. It's not the prettiest picture.
Luckily for me/unluckily for them, they didn't find anything of value (since there isn't anything of value in it) and left with a pretty poor plunder. But hey they did get a kitchen knife. Stupid thieves... didn't even have the courage to break the window so I could at least have some sort of story to tell...
Bethany and the managers also got the break-in fate two nights later. Of course they did have objects of value in their cars. I kind of feel left out. Oh well, they probably will strike again so I can at least stick one of my high quality printers in the car to see if they will take that off my hands.
And now another pause...
awwwwww......
Anyway, so what else is new? Well in Modesto I learned a very valuable thing from my highly intelligent grandfather: John Kerry is the Devil. I didn't realize this since my father had informed me that Bush is the Devil. Now, you see, I am very confused. How are they both the Devil? Do they take turns? Maybe one is the Devil for one week and the other takes over the job the next week... Or maybe they do shifts, like one has the night shift and then is in a really bad mood about so therefore complains about the other one. And then of course they switch, and now the other one is in a really bad mood. It really is a puzzling phenomenon...
and now for my final thought...
"the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the mountain sheep." - Deuteronomy 14:5
That's good... right?
OK, that's just scary...
