Here's a piece of friendly advice...

If you're ever in France and happen to buy a carte orange for the metro, put your picture on it immediately!!!! Don't be like Julia!!!! You see it just so happened that I was with the rest of my group heading to a different part of the city. Nobody had put the pictures on their cards, not thinking much of it. I, being a follower not a leader, did the same thing, except my carte orange wasn't working properly. After a difficult attempt to explain my dilemma in French, another lady came along to help with some English and I learned that they won't fix my card until I put a picture on it. No big deal, except for the fact that my group abandoned me and I have no way of finding them.

So now I am stuck back at the dorm blogging as everyone else has disappeared. Forever...

Ok maybe not forever, but I am rather frustrated. Guess I'll have to go buy some cheese to drown my sorrows (yes CHEESE.... Behold the power of cheese...)

In other news... Julia is stilling feeling the affects of jetlag.

Oh and my roommate, Rachel, seems pretty cool. We hung out yesterday and had an interesting encounter with a French-Italian guy (oh no!) and a French-Lebanese guy. Rachel and I called it roommate-bonding time. They probably called it a disappointing evening.

Hey another person from the group showed up. Julia is not alone! Yay!

Oh um yeah... that whole bible quote thing...

I think I am going to take a temporary break from that because lets face it folks, my bible is two stories above me and there is no way I am going to get it.
