I have a confession to make...

I have committed a terrible sin...

I went to Starbucks!

I couldn't help it! It was calling to me! We were walking down the street looking at these old shopping areas for our class and the radar went off - there was nothing I could do! And believe me, it was sooooooo good.

(I was the only person in a group of 30 people to notice it was there - everyone started freaking out when I pointed it out. That's the Starbucks radar for ya.)

It's ok - I compensated for my sin by having a very French dinner at a restaurant our professor recommended. It was a three course meal including wine, for about 15 euros. And it was also sooooooo good. I can't believe a place like that exists.

Today I went to the Louvre with some friends and we spent some real time there. I saw all of the Greek and Roman stuff, not to mention the Italian stuff including the always notable Mona Lisa.

Except not really notable, unless of course you want to count the huge line and security guards you have to pass through to see it. What a joke - all for a painting of a woman with freaky eyes. It isn't even Da Vinci's best work. I am a personal fan of the Virgin of the Rocks - which I stumbled upon yet again. Such a better painting...

After we got gyros and went to Starbucks - but I didn't order anything I swear!!!

:)
