Ok I only have 10 minutes, and since most of my blogs are unnecessarily long, this will be a short one.
I have come to a new discovery.
A very important one in fact.
Now don't judge me...
I must take on the role as being my French class's token stupid person.
I didn't want to give in, I swear! I thought my silence tactic was working. At first I was the only person in the class who didn't participate, but as time went on I developed followers, who understood my ways of blatant indifference. Now however, only two participators remain, and the professor is threatening our grades. Sadly I must surrender.
Unfortunately no good can come from my participation. Sometimes teachers don't realize this, but some students just shouldn't be involved. I can't keep up with the ultra-nerdy French loving students who share my class. I just don't have the intellect in me. Therefore I must resolve to stating blatantly obvious things to the annoyance of others just to raise my grade.
It's good I have political science where I can make fun of people in my head all class long.
Oh maybe if I have a couple of drinks before every French class I will actually have confidence enough to say something. That's sure to work...
Oh and by the way, the knitting continues. Pam and I are going to go into business together. We figure we are going to sell scarves at the Saturday market in Portland. It'll be fun!
Besides that, not much has happened. Oh with the exception of my engagement of course. I am pretty excited. It's going to be a lovely wedding. We rented out the local bowling alley for the ceremony and we're going to have the reception in the bar. Who's coming?
