wow I got some pretty geeky comments on that last post that had nothing to do with my message - all of you who didn't participate should read them (and comment too - Allison thats you!) Okay now that I have kindly singled out Allison I shall tell you all how Bethany and Matt scared her on Saturday. You see they struck up a deal that Bethany would give him one good night of hot lovin' if she gets to kill him after. (This was inspired by Chicago.) Its okay Allison - I am scared of them too.
Jana has started up a count on how many guys I will reject this year - I told her it won't be very exciting but she has this impression of me - its odd. (the count is at 2) (how did it actually get that high? seriously?) (though the second wasn't too serious) (I hope) (I am a horrible person) (but I know of worse)
Okay so I actually got sleep this weekend. Unfortunately it came at the expense of the 9:00 service at church. Yours truly woke up at 9 to my dad's phone call. Apparently the worship team called him and was wondering where I was. So I get ready in an impressive 25 minutes and get there by 10 to find out that I wasn't the only one that slept in. There are 5 singers and 3 of us failed to arrive. I guess it was a worse nightmare situation....
So one of my clustermates set up her game cube in the cluster so I have been playing way too much Mario Sunshine. But hey I matched her score! (yes I am sad I know)
So no big exciting things are happening. Poor Raiders fans - at least they are taking out their pain in a healthy productive manner:
"Crowds that took to the streets after the Raiders' Super Bowl defeat left parts of the city strewn with broken glass, charred hulks of burned cars and a fast-food restaurant with nearly every window broken. There were 80-85 arrests for violations ranging from driving under the influence to obstructing officers, Police Chief Richard Word said at a news conference Jan. 27. Police responded to the trouble Sunday night with rubber bullets, tear gas and squads of officers that sought to disperse the crowds" - Espn
I love football
