Hey long time no post. Okay so since the last time I updated I've graduated early from college, started a job with the New York Times and met the man of my dreams. We are getting married in June.

Okay maybe not. Um I was a leader on this ski trip thing for my church's highschool group last weekend. It was quite interesting. I have gained an appreciation for all the leaders that had to put up with me during my highschool days (which if you were counting wasn't that long ago which makes you wonder what they were thinking letting me be a leader in the first place). It was alot of fun though, with the exception of the fact that my room was below freezing and I didn't get too much sleep and now am sick as a result. Yeah and thats no good cuz it is causing me to skip classes.

OH NO!!!!! I NEVER EVER SKIP CLASSES - THERE GOES MY 4.0!!!!

oh wait... never mind

Anyway it was alot of fun. I couldn't ski very much due to me only having one pair of glasses and not wanting to break them. So yeah skiing without the glasses is a fun experience - I recommend it. All you see is white and you find your self asking "is that a hill?" I however did get the opportunity to start Harry Potter in french. Oh hey Kelsea - I read over a hundred pages the first weekend I owned the book. Now let me think - how long have you been reading Harry Potter in Spanish? hahahahahahahaha I think I will devote an entire post to when I finish it. Hahahahahahaha. Okay don't mind the rude one. I try not to let her out of my subconscious too much. She seems to have a mind of her own though.... they all do.

Oh sorry about that. There aren't any "they" - I don't know what I was talking about. YES YOU DO! NO I DON'T! LEAVE ME ALONE!

This has to be the most random post I have ever written.

Probably due to the drugs... I mean the cold...

Okay so this weekend really made me think alot about highschool. Mostly it made me realize to an even greater extent how glad I am that I am not there anymore. There is so much pressure to be a certain person in highschool and I never was that person. I saw those students and how much their lives revolve around this one little system. One of the other leaders was a girl who was at Skyline a year ahead of me. I had classes with her but never made an effort to talk to her because she ran in such a different crowd than me. She turned out to be this really nice person and it made me realize how inhibitory highschool can be. I always liked to think of myself in highschool as a person not following the system. However more and more I realize that I did.

I just noticed that I stapled my lab report on the wrong side of the paper. Seriously I think I am certifiable.

Okay enough of this post mostly because I am starting to lose it. I need more coffee.
